CONTESTANT RULES & REGULATIONS
GOLDEN AGE ENTERTAINMENT "FAMOUS CROONERS JACKPOT"
September 8 thru October 17, 2008
(Monday through Friday only)
OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
2. GOLDEN AGE ENTERTAINMENT WILL CONDUCT THE CONTEST ON WEEKDAYS (MONDAY THRU FRIDAY) DURING THE ABOVE DATES FOR A CHANCE TO WIN THE FOLLOWING:
Prize: a. Each week a $100 gift card from either Target or Wal-Mart will be awarded when a caller enters our contest by correctly identifying the artist from clues that are provided on air during each of the 6 weeks of the contest. At the conclusion of each week’s game, a representative of Golden Age Entertainment will randomly select a name from those who have called during the Monday through Friday period of the game. If that person correctly named the famous crooner artist, they will be the winner of that week’s $100 gift card. If the answer is incorrect, the representative will randomly select another name until a correct answer is chosen or all names have been selected. In addition, a $250 gift card from Target or Wal-Mart will be awarded from all correct phone entries for the entire duration of the contest using the same method described above that was used to select the $100 gift card winner. Also, the senior facility that the $250 gift card winner attends will win a party TBD. IF the $100 or $250 gift cards from either Target or Wal-Mart s becomes unavailable Golden Age Entertainment reserves the right to substitute another Golden Age Entertainment prize of lesser value. Rules: An individual may win a gift card from Golden Age Entertainment once every Monday through Friday period unless otherwise noted in specific contest rules. Gift cards will be mailed directly to the winning individual from Golden Age Entertainment. Gift cards will be issued within eight weeks of winning. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible contestants who call to participate during the Contest call-in periods.
3. Contestants may participate a maximum of once per calendar week (Monday through Friday) during the entire length of the promotion. Associates, and interns of Golden Age Entertainment and Networx Corporation, other related sponsors and their immediate families may not participate and are not eligible to win. The term "immediate families" includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.
4. Eligibility Restrictions: Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Contest is open to persons who legally reside in the continental United States, are 21 years older (before Monday September 8, 2008) at the time of entry, are legal U.S. residents in possession of a valid government-issued photo identification and their own valid Social Security card. Employees of Golden Age Entertainment, Networx Corporation, other related sponsors and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren and in-laws.
Limit one (1) prize per person,once per week,that is defined as a period including Monday through Friday during the entire length of the promotion. No more than one (1) winner is permitted per household or among immediate family. For purposes of this Contest, a "household" of familial relation (includes immediate family members of spouses, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren and in-laws are not eligible to enter or to win. Eligibility decisions will be made by Golden Age Entertainment in its sole discretion. All decisions of Golden Age Entertainment are final.
5. HOW TO ENTER AND SELECTION OF "QUALIFYING PRIZE" WINNERS. To enter, listen to Golden Age Entertainment every hour from 8:00am to 4:59pm (Monday thru Friday). When you hear the Famous Crooners Jackpot clue, call 1-800-445-2449 and at the designated time record your message that includes your guess at the name of the famous crooner, your name, address and the facility that you heard Golden Age Entertainment.
In the event the caller does not recite the correct answer, that caller will be disqualified from that weeks contest. For this contest, the correct answer will be the particular name of a famous male singer derived from the clues provided that week.
Qualifying entries: Any winning contestant must be the participant who originally dialed the phone to Golden Age’s 800 contest line to participate in the contest. No family members, friends, office associates, or any other person will be allowed to participate in the contest on another person's behalf. The contestant must provide his or her own name and valid address. If a contestant uses a false name or address, they will be immediately disqualified from the contest and be ineligible to win any prize.
6. There will be a total of 6 ($100) One Hundred Dollar gift card winners and 1 ($250) Two Hundred and Fifty-Dollar gift card winner during this contest. This contest and the prize values may be ended or altered at the sole discretion of Golden Age Entertainment and Networx Corporation. If no official contestant answers the question correctly, Golden Age Entertainment reserves the right to not award a prize for that week.
7. All winning contestant may be required to submit sufficient identification including a valid driver's license, and social security card.
8. All prize-winning contestants are subject to verification of their identity by Golden Age Entertainment and Networx Corporation prior to their prize being awarded. All prize-winning contestants may be required to submit to a polygraph test. A polygraph test that reveals any fraudulent activity or any non-compliance with any of the rules and regulations outlined herein will result in prize claim denial. All prize winning contestants may also be required to submit to a voice analysis to compare their voice to the prize winning contest call audio tape to verify an audio match. A voice analysis that does not produce an audio match will disqualify the contestant and result in a prize claim denial.
9. Persons who have won another contest or promotion of any kind from Golden Age Entertainment within (7) seven calendar days before “Famous Crooners Jackpot” contest date are ineligible to win.
10. Difficulties with phone lines or difficulty will hearing the Golden Age Entertainment radio properly are not the responsibility of Golden Age Entertainment or other related sponsors.
11. As winner of the “Famous Crooners Jackpot” gift card, you will be responsible for all applicable title fees, registration fees, and taxes including state, local, and federal and therefore may be required to show a valid Social Security Card before claiming your prize.
12. As a "Famous Crooners Jackpot" prizewinner, you acknowledge that Golden Age Entertainment has the right to, without further authorization, publicize your name, voice, and the fact that you are a gift card prizewinner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.
13. There will be no substitution for prizes. Participation in the contest and the prizes awarded are non-transferable. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of Golden Age Entertainment Another winner will not be selected.
14. Golden Age Entertainment reserves the right to make rule or contest changes without notice at any time.
15. The decision of Golden Age Entertainment management in the interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official rules.
16. If the winner is found in violation of the rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.
17. Golden Age Entertainment it's representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.
18. Golden Age Entertainment, it's representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any changes or difficulties in prize delivery.
19. Odds of winning the 7 gift cards depend on the number of eligible contestants who call to participate during the Contest period.
20. The TBD caller will become an official contestant for that individual game. The official contestant will be awarded One Hundred Dollar gift card for being the TBD correct caller and having their name selected at random (subject to verification). The prize does not cover any other expenses, including but not limited to tax. Other restrictions may apply.
